Your First Endodontic Visit

What to expect on your first endodontic visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Often, treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

Please be sure to provide us the following information before or on the day of your consultation:

  • Your referral slip and any X-rays if applicable.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking. (There is a place for this information on your health history paperwork)
  • If you have dental insurance, please provide us with the necessary information prior to your appointment so that we will be prepared with an accurate estimate of your copay at the time of your appointment.

NOTE: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18.
